You can decide to have lunch in a nice local restaurant or have a simple lunch with the shepherd in a rough “Pagliaio” (straw hut) and enjoy the cheese experience. You have to walk for 10 minutes on an easy pathway in the mountain to reach the shepherd. It’s a rough place not for fancy people!!

You can add a visit to the Contemporary Art Museum “SottoSale”in the Salt mine Italkali in Petralia Soprana (open only on Saturday - children under the age of 12 cannot enter ).

Later you’ll arrive in Castelbuono, a medieval town where history, culture, and culinary delights await.
